The Paperwork

During your makeup consultation I shall take note of the following: final numbers for makeup, 'the getting ready address', contact details and the service time.

We shall then take a look at the running order for the day. This ensures a smooth running morning on the wedding day.

Once I have completed the necessary admin this will be sent to you via email. Note this may not be the same day.

The invoice will contain a date stating when the final balance is due, this must be paid on time, T&Cs apply.

The Big Day

Yay...the big day is finally here. I will arrive at the 'getting ready address' at the time we discussed during the makeup consultation.

I will be bringing along my full makeup kit and makeup chair.

I will require a clean/clear surface space to lay out all of those luxury makeup products. The perfect spot to create your look is in an area that has plenty of natural light.

Your job is to sit back, relax and enjoy the pampering experience.

My job is to make you feel and look fabulous.

FAQ

No question is a silly question, here are a few FAQ from previous brides.

How long is the bridal consultation?

I allow 90mins for these sessions.

Can I bring a friend to my appointment?

Yes, however there is limited space in the studio, please note it comfortably fits 3 people (including myself).

How long does one makeup take?

I allow 1hr per person.

How many people can have makeup on the day?

I limit myself to 6 faces on a wedding day, this is to ensure everyone is given the time and quality makeup that they deserve.

I have over 6 people in my bridal party, what happens now?

No need to panic, I work alongside a lovely bunch of makeup artists, the load can be split between us, note this is subject to their availability.

Is there an additional fee for a 2nd makeup artist?

Yes, an additional £20 will be added to the balance and possibly an extra mileage fee.

Do you do hair?

No, I specialise in makeup. However I can recommend some fabulous stylists to you.

What can I do to improve my skin leading up to my wedding day?

This can be very individual and I can advise you better after our consultation. Everyone should 100% drink more water and moisturise...hydrate hydrate hydrate.

Does everyone in my bridal party need an initial consultation before the big day?

No, I recommend that the bride books in but other members of the bridal party are optional.

How do I know what look will suit me?

This is where my extensive experience and professional training at the Davinia Fermi Makeup Academy in London, come in to play. I will be able to advise you what style, tones, textures and colour will suit your features and colourings best so we can create something beautiful that you will love.
